At The River, we offer a free will service for our congregants. Through this service, our members can apply for a free will in order to help protect their assets and plan for the future.

Two out of every three Americans do not have a will. If someone dies without a will, they die intestate. When a person dies intestate, the distribution of their assets will be determined by a probate court. This is not the best plan of stewardship for the believer. The Bible says, “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children” -Proverbs 13:22. The best inheritance is not only physical but spiritual.
This is why The River is excited to offer members the opportunity to create their own legal will. It’s 100% free to you, and most people finish in 20 minutes or less.
You also might want to consider leaving a bequest to The River. If you choose to designate a bequest, you may choose “The River of Columbus” from the drop-down menu when creating your will. The drop-down menu will appear after selecting “My Church” if you choose to leave a bequest.
